Gli incubatori farmaceutici MIR incorporano un pannello di controllo a microprocessore a 8 bit per il controllo di calore e refrigerazione nell’intervallo ±0,2 °C. I modelli programmabili includono funzioni a tre fasi utili per le sperimentazioni che interessano microbiologia, biologia cellulare vegetale e molto altro.
L’accurato comando timer del microprocessore consente esperimenti fino a un massimo di 99 ore e 59 minuti. È possibile impostare i tempi di avvio ritardato secondo le proprie preferenze. Al termine di un esperimento, viene attivato un allarme buzzer e i campioni vengono conservati ad una temperatura impostata fino alla loro rimozione. Grazie allo schermo del display è possibile impostare diverse modalità di funzionamento.
